Medvedev was quoted as saying to ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, “Yes, yes, because it will be absolutely legal … It’s understood with the leagues that if it’s a free agent, or even a restricted free agent, they could decide where to play.

Jeff Deslauriers made 22 saves for his third shutout of the season, and Gilbert Brule and Marc Pouliot scored in the Edmonton Oilers’ 2-0 victory over the New Jersey Devils on Sunday night. Edmonton also beat Minnesota on Friday night to snap a three-game losing streak.
